I know that life can be overwhelming, stressful and just simply confusing at times. My approach in counseling is individualized, as in not one person's "problem" is exactly the same as the next person. I take a dive into who you are, where you came from, and where you want to go and create a personalized plan to living happier. Counseling is not a "quick fix" solution, it requires continuous effort and dedication. I will utilize your strengths, positive qualities and past successes to motivate you to live your IDEAL life. Although we cannot change the past, we CAN work together to better understand and resolve the current struggles holding you back.
A bit more about me...
Here I could most certainly list off all my credentials, my training and my experience, but the fact of the matter is, that is not what is most important right now. Please feel free to ask me for this information at any time, but, really let’s get back to what brings you to counseling.
You’re struggling being stuck in the mud in your life; you don’t know what direction to go in life anymore, you don't know how to make your relationships work and you’re not sure how to accomplish the endless goals and get to where you want to be.
Therapy can be most certainly scary... at first similar to anything in life! Think about it right now; you’re probably uncomfortable and unsure about whether to share intimate aspects with anyone in your personal life. And now, you’re thinking about trusting a counselor; a complete stranger with this information, in the hopes that it will leave you feeling happier. You may be feeling so very vulnerable (this is very normal). You are not alone and you are worth it.
